By the grace of Almighty God, your prayers and presence are requested at a celebration of Holy Communion with the Rite of Ordination for Zachary Edward Lindler into the Ministry of Word and Sacrament.
The ordination will occur on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 215 St. Thomas Church Road, Chapin, South Carolina.
The Reverend Virginia Aebischer, Bishop of the South Carolina Synod, will be presiding and preach at this ordination.
Zachary has been called to serve as pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, Graniteville, South Carolina.
All ordained, consecrated, and commissioned ministers are invited to join. Red is the color of the day.
Prayer
Almighty and merciful God, you built your Church on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, and you instituted the office of the holy ministry so that apostolic and prophetic Word might be heard throughout the ages. Grant that this new deacon may minister faithfully in the power of your Spirit; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
