NovusWay Ministries Elects Bo Harris, IV to Executive Director

NovusWay Ministries today announced that its Board of Trustees has elected Boyd W. Harris IV as its executive director and chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2018. Harris succeeds Keith Johnson, who had earlier announced his intention to retire at December 31 after 24 years as its executive director.

We are happy to announce out new Spiritual Direction Certification Program here on the campus of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.
Spiritual direction is a centuries-old Christian tradition; however, it has largely stayed rooted in the Roman, Eastern, and Anglican community. Somehow, it fell off the Protestant “radar” for far too long.

Border Child

Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. Additionally, this training is certified through the South Carolina Department of Social Services for professional development training hours.

Children in foster care wait for a loving family to call their own. Refugees flee the dangers of their home and adjust to life in a new country. Adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities face daily challenges.
