As your congregation begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, would you like a stewardship program for your congregation that seeks to:
- Stabilize and grow financial giving?
- Teach Biblical stewardship principles?
- Help members discover generosity?
- Begin building a foundation for a generous culture?
If your answer is YES to any of the above questions, you may want to consider registering for Beginning a Culture of Generosity. Registration opens beginning in July-August 2020.
While the total cost of the program is $450 per congregation, the fee is reduced because of the South Carolina Synod partnership with Gronlund-Sayther-Brunkow (GSB). Financial support for Beginning a Culture of Generosity (BCOG) is a Growing in God’s Mission Appeal initiative. The congregation fee of $450 is reduced to $200 on a first come, first served, basis for the first 20 congregations to register, with the possibility of more grants becoming available in the future.
Rev. Mike Ward, author of Abundance: Creating a Culture of Generosity, Fortress Press [2020] and GSB partner, leads the program.
Mike will provide information on how this new program works. He is offering an overview of Beginning A Culture of Generosity for Region 9 in a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Here is the invitation link:
