Saturday morning’s Worship and Necrology service echoed Jesus’ words from John 14, “Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled: A service of comfort and healing.”
Led by Pastor Megan Lineberger and Pastor Ginger Litman-Koon (with planning assistance from Deacon Andrew More) we lifted up the cares and concerns weighing on our hearts and minds. While there is so much around us that can cause anxiety, we remain grounded when we remember the promise that God is always with us.
In our worship, we also remembered the creative work of God that was lived out in the lives of the saints of our synod who have passed on to the church triumphant.
