By the grace of God and the movement of the Spirit, your prayers and presence—either virtual or in-person—are requested at a celebration of Holy Communion with the Rite of Ordination and Installation for Joel Antley into the Ministry of Word and Sacrament.
The ordination will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The worship service will be at St. David Lutheran Church, located at 132 St Davids Church Rd, West Columbia, South Carolina. The Reverend Dr. Phyllis Blair Milton, Bishop of the Virginia Synod, will be presiding at this ordination and the Reverend Greg Brown, Pastor of St. David Lutheran Church, will preach.
Joel has been called by Our Saviour Lutheran Church of Christiansburg, Virginia to be their pastor.
All ordained, consecrated, and commissioned ministers are invited to robe and participate. Red is the color of the day. We ask that you be robed and gathered by 9:30 a.m. in the commons area adjacent to the Sanctuary.
