Walking together, Fostering Hope
Introduction to the Day:
The day will begin with check-in at 9:30 am. The program will begin with our keynote speaker, Dennis Gillan. There will be opportunities for dialogue, learning, and resourcing. The goal of the day is to raise awareness and to provide tools for families, congregations and communities to better address the needs of those of us, and those we know, that suffer with depression or mental illness.
We hope that every community of faith in South Carolina plans to be present to raise awareness, be equipped, and feel empowered to foster hope.

Dennis lobbies lawmakers for additional funding for suicide prevention and raises funds and awareness to help combat the rise in completed suicides in America.
