Come to Redeemer Lutheran Church (525 St. Andrews Rd., Columbia) for an informational meeting – Thursday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. John Daugherty, Executive Director of Operation Inasmuch, will give us insights on the proven activities to engage members of our Synod in meaningful ministry. John provides Operation Inasmuch with organizational leadership, new service development and network building, church recruiting and training, and fundraising connections. Ministry, community service and working with people in need have been a major focus of his passion and profession for over 40 years of experience in congregational ministry, social services and denominational leadership.
Join us on Saturday March 30th for our Synodwide service event – Operation Inasmuch – as we join neighbors and friends to reach out to our neighbors in need in the spirit of Matthew 25:40.
Each spring, congregations across the South Carolina Synod participate in an “Operation Inasmuch” day of service. This year’s target date is Saturday, March 30, 2019.
Operation Inasmuch helps churches move out of the seats and into the streets to serve their neighbors in need. It’s a time for everyone to do hands-on ministry outside the walls of their buildings. Groups from different congregations join forces, plan projects, and spend time working together.
Don’t forget to report back! When your service day is over, please be sure to have someone be responsible for filling out the short report form and sending it in. Use the short report form, print it out and send it in. REPORT DEADLINE: (We will update information and the download forms soon.)
