In celebration of 75 years of faithful ministry at Lutheridge, NovusWay has launched the Lutheridge 75th Birthday Capital Campaign. Gifts to the campaign will fund renovations and forward focused projects at camp and strengthen the foundation of this life-changing ministry. The generosity of individuals and congregations throughout the southeast are helping Lutheridge light a candle and pass the faith for generations to come.
At its November 2024 meeting, the South Carolina Synod Council authorized a Synod wide appeal for the Lutheridge 75th Birthday Capital Campaign. Beginning in 2025, congregations of the South Carolina Synod will be invited to give thanks for the ministry of Lutheridge, tell the story of the Lutheridge 75th Birthday campaign, and encourage all members to give toward this important appeal.
“As our synod joins the Lutheridge 75th Birthday campaign, we are celebrating the generations of children, youth, and adults who have walked the trails and forged a path of faith which has had significant impact on their life and way of living in Christian community,” says Bishop Ginny Aebischer. “So many pastors and deacons first heard their call to ministry at Lutheridge. So many lives have been blessed by the faith formation that takes place at camp and gets lived out at home, at school, at workplaces, and in community beyond the mountain. I thank God for this place set apart where generations continue to learn and to breathe deeply.”
Congregations and leaders can expect to hear more about the campaign at the 2025 South Carolina Synod Assembly. For more information, visit Lutheridge.org/campaign or contact Rev. Nathan Gragg, Campaign Manager, at (828) 209-6326 or NGragg@NovusWay.org.
