A preview of Stewardship for All Seasons will be held online on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. In this preview we will have conversation with Rev. Mike Ward, leader, Stewardship for All Seasons. Mike is the author of Abundance: Creating a Culture of Generosity, Fortress Press [2020]. For several years the South Carolina Synod has partnered with congregations. This is an opportunity to hear about Stewardship for All Seasons and consider thinking about stewardship development in your congregation.
Because of the partnership with the South Carolina Synod the cost is reduced for first year congregations and returning congregations. A congregation entering the first year can expect 50% of the cost to be paid by the synod. Congregations are asked to contribute back to the synod through Mission Support. Working with other congregations not only makes it more affordable but brings energy to the process. Cohort groups begin in May 2022. Pastors and Deacons along with as many members of your stewardship team are invited to join the meeting. A covenant between the synod and the congregation can be found below.
