By the grace of Almighty God, your prayers and online presence are requested at a celebration of the Rite of Ordination for Ashlen Kate Justice into the Ministry of Word and Service.
The ordination will take place on Sunday, June fourteenth, two thousand and twenty at four in the afternoon, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, located in Beaufort, SC. The ordination will be streamed via Facebook from St. John’s Facebook page. The link to St. John’s Facebook Page is https://www.facebook.com/StJohnsBeaufort/ . The attendance is only limited to 10 people, but we welcome all to watch through the Facebook stream. The Reverend Herman Yoos, Bishop of the South Carolina Synod will be presiding at this ordination and Reverend Tessa Moon Leiseth, Interim Pastor at Horace Lutheran Church in Horace, North Dakota, will be preaching via a pre-recorded sermon that she has prepared for the ordination.
Katie has been called to serve at St. John’s as the deacon for Children, Youth and Family Ministries.

Almighty and merciful God, you built your Church on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, and you instituted the office of the holy ministry so that apostolic and prophetic Word might be heard throughout the ages. Grant that this new pastor may minister faithfully in the power of your Spirit; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
