Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I need to inform you of a necessary change in venue for the upcoming 2025 South Carolina Synod Assembly, scheduled for June 12-14. Some of you may have heard about the closing of the Embassy Suites Greystone, here in Columbia. Due to that unforeseen circumstance, we have had to secure a new location.
The Assembly will now be held at:
Embassy Suites Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center
5055 International Blvd.
North Charleston
June 12-14.
I recognize that this change may present logistical and financial challenges for some of our congregations as this change may impact travel arrangements and the need for accommodations and I truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
We did not make this decision lightly, having explored all other options before making this necessary move. We are working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and with this change, we will be able to maintain the same spirit of community and collaboration you expect from Assembly.
I pray that despite this change, you will still make plans to join us for the 2025 SC Synod Assembly. We are confident that this year’s gathering will be a blessed time of faith, fellowship, and celebration and we look forward to sharing it with you!
Information regarding registration will be coming out next week and more information about the Assembly will be shared in the coming weeks.
