By Ashley Jean Lucas, Fitness & Wellness Supervisor, The Heritage at Lowman
Join us Tuesday, July 12, for a new educational series at the Heritage at Lowman.
This series will focus on the theme of grief. Grief is a natural and normal part of living and loving. Like going to the dentist or taking our car to the shop, it is unavoidable and something we have to deal with. This series will cover various aspects of grief to help us better care for ourselves and the ones we love when grief hits. In easy to swallow doses our grief experts will share some of their favorite tips for coping with the pain of grief.
On July 12th we will focus on keeping the memory alive. Memories help us to treasure loved ones and to overcome the grief we experience when they are gone. We will discuss how to hold on to those memories as sources of healing and joy.
Each Walking with Grief session is held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday afternoons in Hoefler Gallery located in the Wellness Center on the Heritage at Lowman campus. Refreshments will be served. The series is free and open to the public. For more information and/or to register for the April 12th session please call 803-732-8800.
