By Ashley Jean, The Heritage at Lowman
Join us, Sunday November 13, 2016 for an afternoon of music. Performing will be the Presbyterian College Choir and Ringers.
The Presbyterian College Choir has been a continuing part of the artistic and academic life of Presbyterian College for more than eight decades. Singers come from all disciplines of the college and some are participating in choral music for the first time. Since 1998, Dr. J. Porter Stokes has served as the conductor of the ensemble.
The PC Ringers was founded in the Spring of 2000 following the modest purchase of a 3-octave set of Malmark Handbells. Now with a 5+ octave set of Malmark handbells and a 6.5-octave set of Malmark ChoirChimes, the PC Ringers may claim to be one of the finest college bell ensembles in the Southeast.
All Sunday at Lowman Concerts are held at 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoons in the New Life Chapel located in the Wellness Center on the Heritage at Lowman campus and will be followed by a reception in the adjacent Hoefler Gallery. The concerts are free and open to the public. For more information about our concert series please call (803) 451-7414.
