Journey to the Holy Land with the South Carolina Synod

The South Carolina Synod is sponsoring a Holy Land Study Program with leader Dr. Monty Luker. On this trip you will spend 14 amazing days of biblical study and adventure from December 27, 2018 – January 9, 2019. It is open to our whole synod – rostered leaders, candidates and lay people alike. While this trip is sponsored by the South Carolina Synod, people from other synods are welcome to join us.

Included below are links to the registration website and the brochure which has all the information about the itinerary, costs, deadlines for deposit, and registration. Please share this information with your congregation and friends. This is a perfect opportunity for people from across the synod to get to know one another and explore the treasures of the Holy Land together.

This trip has 50 seats available. The South Carolina Synod sponsored this trip in 2016 and it was a life-changing and life-giving opportunity for all involved. Dr. Luker is an excellent teacher and leader who is dedicated to sharing his years of experience and insights in the Holy Land which bring the scriptural stories to life while standing in the places where the stories took place.

The cost of the trip for each person will be $3,383 (all-inclusive from New York). Those flying to New York from Columbia or other locations will have some additional fees. It promises to be an exciting and engaging experience. Please consider this amazing opportunity to have the scriptures opened up to us in new ways, and to better understand the people and political climate of that part of the world, as well as traveling with folks from the South Carolina Synod.
