Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. Additionally, this training is certified through the South Carolina Department of Social Services for professional development training hours.
Michel Stone will be on campus and be interviewed by Dr. Ginger Barfield, Executive Director of the Academy of Faith and Leadership. Michel Stone will answer questions about what she learned about immigration as she researched for her novel as well as what she has learned about immigration over the past ten years of writing and researching about the topic.
