This Lenten prayer journey (and devotional book) is a gift to the South Carolina Lutheran Men in Mission from the South Carolina Synod Office of the Bishop in thanksgiving for the dedication and work SC LMM has had in supporting Synod missions and in the hope that this season and journey together will support the vision of SC LMM as they seek to welcome younger men and new people into their mission work. The Prayer Book will be sent to each participant. A link for participation will also be send to each person who signs up. This is open to all men of the South Carolina Synod.
For more information contact DeborahSlice@scsynod.com.

This Lenten Journey and Visioning Experience will include:
Opportunity, as men in leadership across the South Carolina Synod:
- to grow together in faith through the forty days of devotional reflections and prayer
- to grow in awareness about our current missional context
- to individually and collaboratively dream dreams and see visions for pursuing the mission (of SC LMM) in this next season
Activities: Crossing Thresholds Prayer Guide with response sheets & prompts for each participant to use in daily devotion and reflection.
5 weekly Zoom gatherings (60 minutes) for learning, support, gathering insights and collecting vision, PLUS 1 visionary session at the 6th week to harvest the participants’ discernment (what they hear God saying in this time and as they move into the future as church together).
