Walking with Grief Education Series: June 2016
This series will focus on the theme of grief. Grief is a natural and normal part of living and loving. Like going to the dentist or taking our car to the shop, it is unavoidable and something we have to deal with. This series will cover various aspects of grief to help us better care for ourselves and the ones we love when grief hits. In easy to swallow doses our grief experts will share some of their favorite tips for coping with the pain of grief.
On June 14th we will focus on ongoing grief and triggers. Grief, Triggers, Coping: Tears fall. Sometimes we know why. Sometimes we don’t. Come explore the source. Come experience the wellspring! Timothea Sharpe, MSW, M.Div. retired. Grandma, full-time.
Each Walking with Grief session is held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday afternoons in Hoefler Gallery located in the Wellness Center on the Heritage at Lowman campus. Refreshments will be served. The series is free and open to the public. For more information and/or to register for the June 14th session please call (803) 732.8800
